Leo Ross started the Sauk Rapids Funeral Home in the 1930’s. From 1953-1974 Larry Veeser was the funeral director and owner. Douglas E. Dingmann purchased the Sauk Rapids Funeral Home from Larry Veeser in 1974. It has been in the Dingmann family since that time. In the fall of 2008 the Williams and Dingmann families partnered to form Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes. In January of 2014 the Dingmann family became sole owners of Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes.

Williams Funeral Home, which began as the Tschumperlin Funeral Home, has been serving Central Minnesota since 1873. Bernard E. "Barney" Williams purchased the funeral home in 1948 from Al J. Tschumperlin. In 1967 Thomas J. Williams joined his father in the business. In the fall of 2008 the Williams and Dingmann families partnered to form Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes. The Dingmann family purchased the Klein Bank building in 2017 and completely remodeled the building to transfer it into a full service funeral home and cremation provider. The Dingmann family has been serving the Sherburne county families since 1907.

The Dingmann Family has been serving central Minnesota since 1907 when John Dingmann began providing funeral services in Clear Lake. John was joined by many of his family members including his sons F.E., Ralph, Al and Carl. John’s grandsons Phil, Eugene and Cyril Arnold were also licensed funeral directors. Today, F.E. Dingmann’s sons, along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren proudly carry on the family tradition.
