Kenneth K. Kelley, 83, long time Princeton resident, died Monday, March 8th at the Elim Home in Princeton.
Ken was born on December 27, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of Lloyd and Sally Kelley. He grew up and was educated at Milaca, graduating from Milaca High School. He served in the US Navy and was a life member of the American Legion and the VFW. He worked as an agent for Farmers Insurance Group in Princeton from 1954 to 1990. He enjoyed golfing at the Princeton Golf Course and having morning coffee with the downtown business group. He loved to tour the countryside, from Florida to Alaska, especially if it was in one of his new cars.
Ken is survived by his children: Bruce (Mary) Kelley of Merida, Mexico, Mark (Connie) Kelley of Sauk Rapids, MN, Paul (Lynn) Kelley of Mankato, MN and Cheryl Kelley of Columbia, MO; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his sister: Marlys Becklin of Woodbury, MN; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Sally Kelley; and his sons: Neil and Scott Kelley, both of St. Cloud, MN.
Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM, Saturday at the church.
Funeral: 2:00 PM Saturday, March 13th at Fresh Waters United Methodist Community, River Campus, Princeton, MN. (formerly Princeton United Methodist Church).
Burial: Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton, MN.
