Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, for Rita M. Theisen, age 84, who died Saturday at Sterling Park Health Care Center. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Christian Women will pray at 5:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Reverend Greg Lieser will officiate and burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Rita was born on May 2, 1925 in Waite Park to Bernard & Catherine (Schreiner) Binsfeld. She married Julius Theisen on August 20, 1949 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Rita worked for Apollo High School and North Junior High School as a cook for 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and St. Peter’s Christian Women.

Rita is survived by children, Kathy (William) Koltes of Watkins, Debbie (Harry) Roberts of Lake City, Bill (Jeanne) of St. Cloud and Tim (Paula) of Randall; brothers and sisters, Benedict of St. Cloud, Herb (Mary) of Albany, Greg of St. Stephen, Judy Meemken of St. Joseph and Marie Heying of St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Julius on July 5, 1981; brothers and sister, Benno, Edward, Edmund, Joe, Delroy and Edna Eich.
